Hi, i'm from the UK. Does anyone know what happened to Diet coke and vanilla over here? I used to love it so much. You might still have it in the US I'm not sure. We finally have dr pepper zero though thank goodness!

I'm with Toastie, here.... I am a dedicated Coke-lover. And of the Pepsi flavors, Diet Dr. Pepper is my favorite. It still is, when I'm at home.

But, oddly enough, Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi has become my beverage-of-choice here at work. And I buy it in the 24 oz bottles, too. The big 2-liter bottles were too unwieldy to handle, and the pop would lose its fizz in the cup. And I seemed to go through cans much faster, ounce-for-ounce, than I do the larger bottles. So, I buy a couple sixpacks at the beginning of the week, and two or three bottles will get me through the entire night (I work 12-hr shifts). For some reason it's the only beverage that seems to hit that "Aaaahhhh..." spot when I'm at work.

Anyone tried the Diet Pepsi Jazz Caramel Cream yet? I love caramel, but this sounds like it could be a bit sickeningly sweet...even for me!

Kicks Cherry Diet Coke's ass. I think I need to downgrade the Jazz flavors. Good old Wild Cherry Diet Pepsi is so much better.

I'm struggling to get through this whole 12-pack I recently purchased. Diet Cheerwine is horrible. The Splenda makes it taste far too sweet in a very bad way, akin to cough syrup.

I've begun to actually enjoy Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi. The store nearest me has been running sales for the past few months on six-packs of the 24-oz bottles, and I like to bring them to work. I bought the DWCP the first time because they'd run out of Dr. Pepper, and then they had the DWCP on sale and not the Dr. Pepper (though that is rare; usually the whole Pepsi line is on sale at the same time). Also, it's a good "drink with dinner" soda as well as a sipping soda.

And now, even though I usually prefer Coke to Pepsi, and Dr. Pepper to either, I find I'm enjoying the DWCP for its own sake. I actually am buying it deliberately now.

The real "fountain classic"! I picked some of this up at Food Lion this morning (12-packs $2.75 each). I think this is my favorite. I do seem to tire from the specialty flavors, but regular Diet Dr. Pepper never gets old. It's not too sweet, and there's no aftertaste. It's as close to perfect as I've found in a diet soda.

I'd tried PJ Vanilla Raspberry, and while it was tasty enough, it wasn't anything to write home about. But after the rave review of the PJ Strawberries & Cream, earlier in this blog, I made a point to hunt it down.

Yep, good stuff, Maynard. It really does have a nice strawberry taste, and the "cream" part gives a smooth richness to the overall flavor. I didn't even notice the usual aspartame edge to it; it almost tasted like the sodas that use Splenda instead.

This would be a good soda to have here at work, because it is definitely a "sipping" soda. It's not a good "have with something to eat" flavor, because the strawberries & cream doesn't mix well with food... but that's what colas are for, after all. *g*

All things considered, I'd give it an 8 out of 10.
